GitHub Copilot automatically checks the code of other members in the project

With the new Copilot review function, GitHub supports the work of development teams by automatically checking code.
As a preview, the GitHub Copilot offers new functions for code reviews, especially for reviewing code from other contributors in software projects.
For reviews of pull requests, there are two new functions [1] for the AI assistant: Code Summary and Smarter Reviews. The summaries summarize the changes to a pull request to make it easier for human reviewers to review the new code. The second function automatically searches for problems in the code that a human might overlook. More in-depth change suggestions work for the languages C#, Go, Java, JavaScript, Markdown, Python, Ruby and TypeScript.

The review assistant starts both automatically with new pull requests and by manual call. In Visual Studio Code [2], developers mark passages so that they can be specifically checked before they are added to the project repository. Suggested changes can be opened in a separate workspace and added to comments.
Separate registration [3] is required to take part in the preview. Detailed information [4] can be found in the documentation.
