The British-Taiwanese manufacturer Akasa specializes in the development of aluminium housings that also serve as heat sinks for the processor. At Computex, the company is showcasing a black anodized Hawking series case for the NUC mini PCs acquired from Intel by Asus.
Compared to the previous NUC passive housings, Akasa was able to significantly reduce the size, but only releases it for the variant with Core i3-1315U of the NUC 13 Pro. In contrast to the models with Core i7 and Core i5, the CPU in this case has a thermal design power (TDP) of just 15 watts instead of 28 watts. This makes cooling considerably easier.

Passive cooling for Raspberry Pi
Akasa presents a fanless housing with front display for the Raspberry Pi 5 single-board computer, which is popular with hobbyists and industrial customers alike. It brings out the two micro HDMI outputs on the side of the board as standard HDMI sockets, the USB-C power connection and the other connections on the rear. The40-pin GPIO strip is also accessible from the outside via a ribbon cable.
Akasa has not yet commented on prices and delivery dates. Typically, however, the manufacturer's products are also delivered to Germany.
