Game Pass game subscription becomes more expensive

Microsoft is raising the prices for its Game Pass games subscription. The various variants will become more expensive across the board. The Xbox version of Game Pass is also being restructured. New customers will have to pay the new prices now, existing customers from September 12.
The PC Game Pass is still available for PC gamers. In future, it will cost 12 euros instead of 10 euros. Console gamers will have to get to grips with a completely new structure: The Xbox Game Pass Standard, which will cost 15 US dollars per month in the USA, will take the place of the Xbox Game Pass for consoles, which previously cost 15 euros. A German price is not yet known. Compared to the previous version of the Xbox Game Pass for Console, the new Standard level is limited: New games will only be added to the Standard subscription after a delay. Existing customers can keep their existing Xbox Game Pass for Console as long as they do not interrupt their subscription.
The limited Xbox Game Pass Core for Console is only available as an annual subscription. It costs 70 instead of 60 euros per year. It offers access to a greatly reduced games library and allows you to play Xbox multiplayer titles.
Game Pass Ultimate 3 euros more expensive
Those who play on both PC and consoles can opt for the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Microsoft's highest subscription level. In future, it will cost 18 euros per month instead of the previous 15 euros. Microsoft provides an overview of the price increases in this PDF document.
Overall, Microsoft's Game Pass will not only become more expensive, but also more complex. While PC gamers are still relatively unscathed despite the price increase of 2 euros per month, a multi-class society of subscribers is emerging on the Xbox console: Standard members only get delayed access to new games. If you want parity with the PC Game Pass, you will have to subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate on consoles in future.
