"Let loose": Apple announces event for 7 May
The long-awaited announcement of the new iPads is taking shape. Apple has announced an event for Tuesday 7 May.

On Tuesday afternoon German time, Apple published an invitation to an event on Tuesday 7 May at 4 pm. The invitation to a "special event" is entitled "Let loose" in English and "Lass Dich frei" in German and shows the Apple logo with a clearly recognisable Apple Pencil integrated into it.
The announcement thus hints at the unveiling of new iPads, which was last expected in May.
