At the beginning of this year, Samsung also introduced a new version of its user interface with the new triumvirate of Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. One UI 7 is based on Android 15 and brings several new functions for smartphones and tablets. This version will also be made available to older device generations, but Samsung has so far only given a launch date of April 7, 2025, without specifying countries and devices. But now there are more details from the Samsung branches in Singapore and the Czech Republic.
Earlier Galaxy devices such as the S24 and S23 series as well as the previous folding and flip smartphones still use One UI 6.1.1, based on Android 14. However, Google's Android 15 has already been available since mid-October 2024, albeit initially only for its own Pixel devices. This operating system offers better data security for Android phones, for example. With One UI 7, Samsung is also bringing Android 15 to Galaxy devices, but has initially limited this to the new S25 generation.

Recently, however, Samsung announced that One UI 7 will be rolled out to other Galaxy smartphones and tablets on April 7, 2025. The Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Z Fold5 and Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series were mentioned by name. However, the manufacturer has not given any exact launch dates, as the graphical user interface will be rolled out at different times in different countries.
Singapore lists devices suitable for One UI 7
While the information from Samsung in Germany is limited to the launch date of April 7, Samsung in the USA states April 10 as the start of availability of One UI 7. However, this only applies to the latest Galaxy generation with the S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6. Other (older) devices will follow in stages. In Singapore, however, Samsung is initially limiting itself to the S24 series. One UI 7 will be available for these devices from April 14.
Nevertheless, Samsung lists other Galaxy models in Singapore that will receive One UI 7 in the future. In addition to the S24 series including the S24 FE, these are the S23, S22 and S21 series, with the S23 FE and S21 FE also being mentioned. In addition, there are the last four generations of Fold and Flip devices, from Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 to Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. For Galaxy tablets suitable for One UI 7, the Tab S10, Tab S9, Tab S9 FE, Tab S8 and Tab S6 Lite series are listed.
Czech Republic has more precise dates
More interesting for Europe, however, is the information from Samsung in the Czech Republic, which is also more precise in terms of dates. There, the Korean company promises to roll out One UI 7 from April 10 for the Galaxy S24, Z Flip6 and Z Fold6 devices – as well as in the USA. One week later, One UI 7 will be available for the Galaxy S24 FE, the S23 series and the Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5. Users of the Galaxy S23 FE, S22 and Galaxy Z Fold5 and Z Flip5 will be able to download the new user interface in the following weeks.
Samsung is less precise for tablets in the Czech Republic. It is said that One UI 7 will be available for the Galaxy Tab S10 models from mid-April and a week later for the Tab S9 series. Owners of Galaxy Tab S8 devices will also be able to download One UI 7 at the end of April. Users of other tablets will have to wait until May, when One UI 7 will also be available for these models.
