Is your website accessible? Next year Accessibility will become mandatory in the EU. In his presentation Paul Hempel will show the most important accessibility issues on publicly accessible websites. The visitors will gain practical knowledge about analysis and development tools as well as HTML and CSS to make their websites accessible.
Paul's talk is just one of almost 40 presentations at c't <webdev>. The conference will cover the entire spectrum of frontend development in three tracks over two days. Two more examples from the agenda: Martina Kraus will show why Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) remains one of the most dangerous attacks in frontend development with JavaScript. She will provide insights into current trends and advanced XSS attack techniques and how to protect your site against them. And Mirjam Aulbach will give you a new perspective on Test Driven Development by showing what it hat in common with dog training. Take a look at the full schedule.
The c't <webdev> 2024 conference will be held from November 13 to 14 in Cologne. On the day before, November 12, there will be three full-day workshops where you can deepen your knowledge on individual topics. And Marco Emrich and Sebastian Rose will give you an overview on different „schools“ of test-driven development and which approach is best suited in which context.
