Aldi Talk: New annual packages with increased data volume

Aldi Talk is upgrading its annual packages: The various packages are getting more data volume, which can be used over a full year according to preference. Aldi Talk's annual tariffs are not available throughout the year. They can be booked from November 14 to December 31, after which they last a whole year and can be extended if desired.

With Aldi Talk's annual packages, users can make calls and send text messages free of charge in Germany and other EU countries. Mobile Internet speeds of up to 100 MBit/s are available. Aldi Talk uses the Telefónica network and now also provides access to the 5G network.

Aldi Talk has increased the data volume for its current annual package offer:

• The XS annual package now offers 40 GBytes instead of 30 GBytes over 365 days for 70 euros
• The S annual package now offers 150 GByte instead of 120 GByte over 365 days for 100 euros
• The L annual package now offers 250 GByte instead of 200 GByte over 365 days for 150 euros

Free distribution over the year

As usual, the data volume can be used and allocated freely throughout the year. Accordingly, the annual package offers more flexibility than the usual monthly tariffs. If you need a lot of data volume over a certain period of time and do not want to use up your inclusive volume, you can book surf tickets: For four euros, you can use 10 GB of data volume over a period of 24 hours. The offer to book one GByte of data volume for two euros is much less attractive.

Anyone who already has an active annual package should first use up their data volume before booking the new package, warns Aldi Talk. After booking, the remaining volume expires. As long as there is sufficient credit in the Aldi Talk app, the package will be automatically extended at the new conditions anyway.
