Microsoft is taking the resource platform for its own licenses offline at the end of the year. Until December 31, users can still access"Get Licensing Ready", complete courses and download certificates. These will remain valid for one year from the date of issue. Email support for the platform will also end at the same time as the service is shut down.
The dedicated site has so far been the central point of contact for official information on Microsoft licenses. In addition to general knowledge about licenses and sales channels of the Microsoft portfolio, there is also in-depth material for individual areas such as Azure or Cloud Solutions Provider. Each of the more than 50 modules consists of learning videos, reference documents and a final exam for the certificate.
New platform comes with AI functions
The software company is making the entire content of the previous portal available on a new Microsoft subpage. In the future, Microsoft also promises AI-supported functions that will complement the new training platform and improve user retention and learning success. It is not yet known which functions are involved and what they will look like.

Microsoft released the AI assistant for the Partner Center as a preview back in October. The AI assistant supports users with navigation and is designed to answer questions about the various Partner Center functions. In addition to user input, the AI draws on product information and program manuals from Microsoft.
