The English-language site Surprise Date Spot recommends restaurants by type of cuisine. It provides a list of restaurant names under headings such as Burger, Pizza, Italian, Asian or Mediterranean, without any further information on opening times, prices or ratings. An OpenStreetMap map appears next to the list, on which the restaurants are marked with a pin. According to the description, the aim is to help people who want to go out and can't agree on a restaurant. The lightning-fast site works perfectly for Hanover, but in Iceland it is still hard to find a restaurant.
