The pictures of the year 2024 from the c't photo gallery
The most popular pictures have been chosen. Landscapes, animals and architecture are most frequently represented in this year's top 20.
Even though it is difficult to rank photographs and art in general, we would still like to present the most popular images of the past year here. The photos are ranked according to the ratings they received from other members of the c't photo gallery. One photographer in particular stands out, whose pictures always receive a lot of recognition.
Heike Maier is by far the most frequently represented in this year's top 20 with a total of seven images. Each of her pictures that appears in this ranking has received a full five stars from the other users. From flowers and portraits to architectural shots, the gallery photographer has impressed with her motifs.
With four photos in the selection, Lena-13 is the second most frequently represented member of the gallery. The photographer impresses with her successful landscape shots, but also with her trained eye for detail.
Two gallery photographers made it into the top 20 with two images each. Animal photographer analoochjehtooch continues to impress with his shots of safaris and native birds. Der Färber also focuses on all kinds of different birds and the odd macro shot of insects
The remaining six images in the top 20 are also by well-known names. Among them is bs_mr, another photographer who focuses on nature. NAlois, on the other hand, tends to prioritize cityscapes as a motif and shows his successful street photography. Luckyguy, Reiner von der Schlei and vinculum show a cross-section of portraits, landscape shots and occasional shots that are most likely to be classified as street photography.
