A trends function is currently being introduced on the Bluesky short message service. However, this is currently only available in English and many users have reported that they are not yet able to access it. Trends provide a quick overview of which keywords are currently appearing particularly frequently in new messages. Such a function is dynamic and reacts promptly to changes.

In the desktop version, the trends appear in the right-hand sidebar; in the app for mobile devices, they become visible when you press the search button. The function can be switched off under Settings, "Content and media", where you will find a switch as soon as the function is available.
Bluesky does not display muted words as a trend. According to Bluesky, the function will be improved and expanded in the future. The network currently has 25 million users and the number of users has increased by around 25 percent compared to the previous month. (uma)
