Laravel Cloud launches on February 24, 2025: New platform for developers
Laravel Cloud is a platform designed to make it easier to deploy and scale applications. There are three price plans to choose from.

Laravel, the popular PHP framework, is launching a new platform called Laravel Cloud on February 24, 2025 – as announced by CEO Taylor Otwell at the Laracon US conference in 2024.
Laravel Cloud aims to simplify the deployment, scaling and security of Laravel applications. According to the announcement article, the platform offers a fully managed infrastructure that is specially optimized for developers and teams who want to deploy their applications efficiently.

Service scope and pricing
Key features of the platform include auto-scaling, DDoS protection and serverless database management with Laravel Serverless Postgres. The pricing structure includes three different plans: Sandbox, Production and Enterprise. The Sandbox plan is free but comes with usage charges, while the Production plan costs $20 per month and offers usage discounts.
Sandbox:
- 0 US dollars per month plus usage charges
- Flex Compute: approximately $5 per month
- Serverless Postgres: $0.04 per hour / $1.50 per GB
- Cache: approximately 7 US dollars per month
- Object storage: 0.02 US dollars per GB
- 3 users included

The launch of Laravel Cloud is scheduled for February 24 and will also be accompanied by the launch of a revised Laravel website and new starter kits. Developers can already subscribe to the Laravel Cloud email list and be informed about news.
