Fans of the Anno games can now sign up for beta tests of “Anno 117”. Publisher Ubisoft wants to test the upcoming building strategy game in several beta phases. In a blog entry, Ubisoft writes about “various beta tests”. There are currently no dates or details.
Anyone who would like to provisionally throw their hat into the ring can register for the “Anno 117” betas on the Ubisoft website. There is no guarantee of success – “With a bit of luck, you will be one of the chosen Annoholics who can test our game in advance and provide valuable feedback,” writes Ubisoft.
“Anno 117” is the latest installment in the “Anno” series. The game is being developed by Ubisoft Mainz and is scheduled for release in 2025. “Anno 117” is set during the heyday of the Roman Empire and lets players cultivate two equal regions: In addition to the Roman heartland, players can also choose the Celtic region at the start of the game. For the first time, players will also be able to pick between different population groups when leveling up. There are also strong indications that Ubisoft could enable diagonal roads for the first time in “Anno 117”.
Registration for all platforms
The “Anno 117” betas will be held on PC, Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5. When registering, you can choose which platform you prefer. If you want to play on the PC, you must have an Ubisoft Connect account. After registering for a platform, you can add further platforms to your application. This means you can apply for beta tests for both PC and consoles.
