The new MD101 wireless mouse from Asus is said to smell pleasant thanks to a small compartment for liquids. The small tank is located at the back of the device and can be filled with "aromatic oils", Asus announced. The tank can also be removed, cleaned and then refilled with the same or other liquids.
The only restriction is that no 100% essential oils may be used. Liquids that are also intended for fragrance stones or ultrasonic diffusers, for example, can be used. There is no connection between the clicks that the user makes with the mouse on the computer and the release of odors through the tank in the housing. In addition, it is not clear from the data provided exactly how the odors are to be generated and how the liquid is released to the outside.

It is available in white and pink, while the operating distance to the receiver is ten meters. The device is also advertised as having a lifespan of ten million clicks and low button noise levels. Asus has not yet provided any information on the price or the launch date.
