New instant cameras from Polaroid: Now and Now+
Polaroid launches the third generation of its Now and Now+ instant cameras with new functions and a supposedly environmentally friendly design.
Polaroid has introduced the latest generation of its instant cameras: the Now and Now+ Generation 3. According to the manufacturer, the two new models offer a number of technical improvements. The light meter is said to be in an optimized position. The distance sensor and the autofocus system with the two lenses have been optimized. These innovations should enable sharper images even in difficult lighting conditions.
Old design and sustainability
Both cameras retain the design of the previous models. However, according to the manufacturer, the housing is now made from 40 percent recycled material. The Now Generation 3 is now available in six colors and uses i-Type film from Polaroid. A filter and tripod thread expand the creative shooting options for photographers.
Creative control and app connectivity
The Now+ III camera offers connectivity via the Polaroid app. This enables access to functions such as aperture priority, double exposure and remote control. With the app, photographers can control and personalize their shots more precisely. The Now+ also uses the i-Type film format. It is available in four new colors.

With the new cameras, Polaroid is expanding its range and now offers four different camera models for the square Polaroid film format. This makes Polaroid, alongside Fujifilm and Lomography, one of the few companies to develop cameras for instant photography.
The price for the Polaroid Now is 130 euros and for the Now+ 150 euros. Both cameras will be available from March 4, 2025.
