Intel announces a whole tranche of vPro processors for corporate use. These are the first business notebooks and desktop PCs with Core Ultra 200. The Core Ultra 200V aka Lunar Lake with vPro enabled will be the first.

Intel actually unveiled the Core Ultra 200V with vPro at the CES tech trade fair at the beginning of January – but today is the official starting signal for the market launch. Only Dell had a vPro-capable model on offer in advance, the Dell Pro 14 Premium (starting from 1535 €).

vPro-capable Core Ultra 200U, Core Ultra 200H, Core Ultra 200HX and Core Ultra 200S should be available from the end of March 2025. They all belong to the Arrow Lake processor family with more powerful CPU cores than Lunar Lake, but with a significantly weaker AI unit.

With the series, Intel covers all device categories, from lightweight ultrabooks to thick mobile workstations and desktop PCs. The vPro-capable NUC 14 Pro AI mini PC with Core Ultra 9 288V in the top configuration comes from Asus.

Intel is not introducing separate processors. Instead, manufacturers can sell the models already presented with vPro. This includes management options for managing a larger fleet of devices in companies.

Intel is currently letting companies test the new vPro Fleet Services function. This is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) that allows notebooks and desktop PCs to be (re)set to a desired status. Companies do not need their servers for this – Intel is apparently initially using its own to load the images. Intel also intends to provide vPro Fleet Services via Microsoft's Intune cloud at a later date.
