Kingfisher

The bright orange belly of the kingfisher forms an impressive contrast to its blue back. With its head raised, it looks towards the sun as it sits relaxed on a branch. The fine patterns of its plumage are clearly visible in Carl-Peter Herbolzheimer 's photo.

In this portrait, the photographer dermaeus artistically stages himself. In his personal creative room, he struggles with tinnitus and unilateral deafness. To depict his inner turmoil, he placed a white mist over his face. It looks as if he is shaking his head – "Shake Head".

Breidtinden, the highest mountain in Senja, Norway, rises majestically in the landscape, while bright green northern lights dance above it, transforming the sky into a magical light show. The fjord lies in the foreground of the scenery and completes the impressive natural picture. Kosh_hh masterfully captures this fascinating natural spectacle of Norway.
Flight studies

MoonPlanes

K P K combines two shots with identical focal lengths to create a fascinating composition. He artfully frames the glowing crescent moon with the contrails of the planes ("MoonPlanes") and places them at the center of the picture.
