Vibrant Visuals will first be released for the Bedrock version of "Minecraft" before the Java version is also supplied. However, there is currently no fixed release date for either update. In a blog entry, Mojang already holds out the prospect that the graphics of "Minecraft" will continue to be reworked even after the Vibrant Visuals update has been released.
Better performance than shader packs?

"Minecraft players can already enhance the creative game with shader packs that community members have been developing for years. These can be used to achieve effects that are reminiscent of or even go beyond the screenshots of the Vibrant visual upgrade that have now been published. However, these shader packs often make even the latest top graphics cards sweat. It is conceivable that the official implementation from Mojang will have less of an impact on performance.
According to the website Windowscentral, it will be possible to switch the Vibrant Visuals effects in "Minecraft" on and off. So if you want to continue playing with the classic "Minecraft" look, you don't need to get excited about the update that has now been announced. The graphics upgrade for "Minecraft" runs locally. This means that every player on a server can choose whether they want to activate the new effects or not. The upgrade can also be switched on and off at any time for existing game worlds.
Prettier "Minecraft" graphics have been officially available for several years with the raytracing update. However, the performance costs of the ray tracing implementation are so high that hardly anyone can really play with it. Most community members activate the mode at most to make their buildings look pretty for screenshots and videos before returning to the normal "Minecraft" graphics. In addition, the ray tracing mode of "Minecraft" is only available on the PC.
