The German-speaking Java community will meet at a special event from June 23 to 27: The unconference JSail combines content trends in the JVM ecosystem with an in-depth look at traditional and more specialized Java-related topics.

In the spirit of an unconference, JSail does not have a rigid program. Instead, the participants decide what is of particular interest to them. The organizers literally get the interested parties on board: some discussions take place during half-day sailing trips. Those who are afraid of the water can choose other activities.

As the flair of the event lies in different experiences and perspectives, both Java newcomers and experienced developers are welcome. Gerd Aschemann and the other organizers of the unconference have chosen this format to bring a breath of fresh air into the community and to combine intensive professional exchange with shared experiences in nature.

The program of the unconference will be developed on site.

As in the last two years, the JSail will take place in Hemelum in the Netherlands and the conference language will be German. Further details on the content and costs as well as a registration form can be found on the conference website.
