Acer is relaunching the Swift Edge 14. The 2025 version uses Intel's Lunar Lake CPUs instead of AMD's Ryzen as before.

In the Swift Edge series, Acer recently sold particularly light and flat 16-inch notebooks with AMD processors, but now the range is being changed: The 2025 model announced at the Computex hardware fair is a 14-inch notebook with Intel's Core Ultra 200V (Lunar Lake). What has remained is a flat casing and low weight: the data sheet states just under one kilogram. It also states up to 21 hours of battery life, so you can leave the power supply unit at home during the day (or at least in your rucksack all the time).
The screen is a high-resolution OLED touchscreen (2.8K resolution, 16:10 format). A protective acrylic glass pane (Gorilla Glass) sits in front of the panel. Unlike usual, this does not reflect, but has a matt surface so that you can also work in bright environments without annoying reflections.

Up to 32 GB RAM
Acer wants to sell the Swift Edge 14 with up to 1 TByte SSD storage space and a maximum of 32 GB RAM. Acer lists processors from the Core Ultra 5 226V to the Core Ultra 9 288V in the data sheet – however, it is unclear which configurations will be available in Germany. The notebook should be available in Germany in June at prices starting at 1800 euros. Wi-Fi 7 is always on board. Biometric login (Windows Hello) is possible in all configurations via camera or fingerprint reader.

The magnesium-aluminum alloy casing is white with gold accents. There will be no other, less conspicuous color for the time being.
