c't <webdev>: The agenda is set
The conference for front-end developers will focus on AI, architecture, accessibility, testing, practical projects and many other topics.
AI-supported coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, bolt.new and v0 are rapidly changing software development. They write code, suggest optimizations and automate entire workflows - but what does this mean for developers? In his keynote “From Copilot to Autopilot - How AI Coding Tools Are Transforming the Developer Role”, Daniel Sogl will shed light on how AI coding tools are changing day-to-day work, which skills will be indispensable in the future and how developers can future-proof their careers.
Other talks will also deal with the topic of AI, which is a very important for front-end developers. In his presentation AG-UI, Max Marschall describes a proposal on how AI agents should exchange information with each other.
As in previous years, however, the entire spectrum of frontend development will be covered, from testing, accessibility and UX in general to basics such as CSS. A few examples from the agenda: Martina Kraus will explain „Why Storing Tokens in the Browser Is a Bad Idea“, Arco Emrich will interactive with the audience try to develop a better understanding and a common language for the question: “How valuable is this test?” and Peter Kröner will show you „5 useful JS APIs that you've never used“.

On the day before the conference, November 18, there will be the opportunity to expand your knowledge in all-day workshops: „AI Applications in Node.js with LangChain and LangGraph“, „Back to the roots: Master the 10 Usability Heuristics for modern web interfaces“, „Web Security Fundamentals“ and „No, webcomponents are not the past“.
