OnePlus with compact Wear OS watch and four other products
Two new smartphones, a compact Wear OS watch and more: OnePlus unveiled five products at its summer launch event.
One day before Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event, OnePlus presents its "summer portfolio".

After OnePlus unveiled the Pad 3, a thin top tablet with a fast processor, at the beginning of June, the manufacturer is now following up in a big way as part of its summer leek event: In addition to the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 smartphone models, the manufacturer is expanding its ecosystem with the more compact OnePlus Watch 3 (43mm), a Pad Lite and the Buds 4. I wonder if OnePlus deliberately timed its event one day before Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked?

The 8.1 mm thin Nord 5 is one of the highlights of the new launches. The mid-range smartphone, priced at 449 euros, is powered by a Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 with 8 or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256/512 GB of UFS 3.1 memory. It also has a 144 Hz OLED display with a diagonal of 6.83 inches and a resolution of 2800 Ă— 1272 pixels. The battery of the 211 g device measures 5200 mAh and charges wired with up to 80 watts.
The dual camera on the back consists of a 50-megapixel wide-angle (Sony LYT-700 CMOS, IMX906) and an ultra-wide-angle camera with eight megapixels (OmniVision OV08D10). A 50 MP sensor is integrated on the front for selfies.
Similar to the compact OnePlus 13T, the Nord 5 has a so-called plus button, which replaces the alert slider and can be assigned various functions similar to the action button on Apple's iPhones.

The Nord CE5 is equipped with a Dimensity 8350 Apex processor from MediaTek and 8 GB of RAM as well as 128 or 256 GB of UFS3.1 storage. At 6.77 inches, the 120 Hz display is smaller than that of the Nord 5 and OnePlus has also saved on the sensor for the wide-angle camera (Sony LYT-600, also 50 MP). The ultra-wide-angle camera is equipped identically with the OmniVision OV08D10 sensor.

At 5200 mAh, the battery of the CE5 is just as large as that of the Nord 5 and also supports charging at 80 watts. The price of the CE5 starts at 350 euros.
In terms of updates, the manufacturer promises four major Android versions and six years of security patches. The device is delivered with Android 15 and Google Gemini.
OnePlus Watch 3 43: Compact Wear OS watch
The new OnePlus Watch 3 43 mm complements the manufacturer's larger watch model with a 47 mm case, which was released at the beginning of 2025. The new version is not only more compact, but also dispenses with angular design elements around the rotating crown and button in favor of a circular design. The case is still made of stainless steel.

According to the manufacturer, the smaller 43 mm model is seven percent thinner and 28 percent lighter than the larger model. The reduction in size comes at the expense of the battery, which is said to offer only 50 percent of the battery life of the 47 mm version. OnePlus speaks of 60 instead of 120 hours of battery life with normal settings. In addition, the display of the small model with 1000 nits peak brightness is darker than the 2200 nits of the 47 mm watch.

Like the large version, the 43 mm version is based on Google's Wear OS 5 and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 mobile processor. A power-saving Bestechnic BES2800BP controller is designed to extend battery life. New functions include cycle tracking and an updated version of the wellness score, which, according to the manufacturer, can detect fatigue using the barometer.
According to the manufacturer, the Watch 3 43 mm costs 300 euros and will be available for 280 euros at market launch. Interested parties can choose between the colors black and white.

With the OnePlus Buds 4, the manufacturer has relaunched its budget earbuds with active noise canceling (ANC). They are available in green and gray and support both hi-res and spatial audio. There are 11 and 6 mm drivers in each earbud. They are operated via touch elements on the side, which are slightly concave in shape. The Buds 4 cost 119 euros.

The OnePlus Pad Lite complements the manufacturer's tablet portfolio. It has an 11-inch LC display (1920 Ă— 1200 pixels) with 90 Hz and a large 9340 mAh battery that charges with up to 33 watts. MediaTek's mid-range Helio G100 model is installed as the processor. The basic model costs 229 euros and comes with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB memory. For 30 euros more, you get 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage and LTE support.
