Ugreen Magflow: First power bank supports Qi2 charging with 25 watts
The Magflow Magnetic Power Bank from Ugreen is one of the first to offer charging speeds of more than 15 W. Android devices should also benefit.

Accessories manufacturer Ugreen has unveiled what it claims is the “world's first Qi2.2-certified power bank”. With this battery pack, devices can be charged wirelessly with an output of up to 25 watts – if they support it.
Magnetic power bank with “Qi2 25W”
Until now, the Qi2 wireless charging standard supported up to 15 watts; with the update to Qi2.2.1 recently announced by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), up to 25 watts are now possible. This brings Qi2.2.1, also known as “Qi2 25W”, up to the speed of the updated MagSafe charger that Apple introduced with the iPhone 16 in September last year.
Ugreen's Magflow Magnetic Power Bank has a capacity of 10,000 mAh and features an integrated but non-retractable USB-C charging cable that can be used as a lanyard when not in use. There is also an additional USB-C port for charging several devices at the same time and a small display that shows the remaining capacity, among other things.
As the Wireless Power Consortium has not yet finalized the Qi2.2 standard, Ugreen has not yet provided any precise details about the market launch. The product page only mentions a launch in the third quarter of 2025. When asked by the company's German agency, it said that further information could be expected around August – to coincide with IFA. The manufacturer has also not yet announced prices.
Qi2 also for tablets and laptops in future
While Ugreen is still tight-lipped about availability, the manufacturer does reveal a few more details about the updated charging standard: Qi2.2.1 is said to have a stronger “magnetic array for more precise magnetic alignment”, prevent overheating and increase charging efficiency. The manufacturer also claims wider compatibility and charging stability with devices that support the Magnetic Power Profile (MPP).

According to Ugreen, the new standard is also ready “for future high-power profiles” with which tablets, laptops, and IoT are to be supplied with power wirelessly. It was recently announced that Qi2.2 will deliver up to 50 watts of charging power in the future.
Android smartphones with full Qi2 support still in short supply
There are still no official details on which devices support Ugreen's Qi2 25W power bank. Because Apple's iPhone 16 series already offers 25 watt wireless charging – mind you, only via the charging puck – introduced in fall 2025, it cannot be ruled out that they can also be charged with 25 watts via Ugreen's solution.
On the Android side, even smartphones with full Qi2 integration are in short supply – Only the HMD Skyline has full Qi2 support, including a magnetic ring to hold the power bank or other accessories in place. Other devices from manufacturers such as Samsung or Oneplus are only Qi2-ready – users have to retrofit the magnetic component using a protective cover.

According to the WPC, 14 devices, receivers, and transmitters recently completed the Qi2-25W certification test in a limited market launch. A full certification test is “open to several hundred devices waiting to be tested”. Rumor has it that Google's Pixel 10 series, which will be unveiled on August 20, will support Qi2 and come to market with its line of accessories. Samsung is also rumored to be considering full Qi2 support.
