The first trailer for the second season of "Fallout" is here: Microsoft and Amazon released the video as part of the Gamescom opening show Opening Night Live. According to the trailer, the second season will be available on Prime Video in December.
The video shows excerpts from New Vegas, which should look very familiar to gamers. The enigmatic Mr. House, played by Justin Theroux, is also shown. In addition, a Deathclaw, which many fans missed in the first part – practically the final boss monster among the "Fallout" mutants, makes its first appearance. The music is also likely to evoke nostalgia in players.

The fact that the second season will be set largely in New Vegas was already evident at the end of season 1. New Vegas is one of the most popular locations in the video games. For many "Fallout" fans, the spin-off "Fallout New Vegas" is the best game in the role-playing series.
Bethesda announced a second season shortly after the launch of the series in April 2024. The second season of the prime video series was filmed in Los Angeles, California. Season 1 was produced in New York City.
Boost for the "Fallout" series
Season 1 was a great success for both Amazon's streaming service Prime Video and Microsoft: the season was not only successful with viewer numbers of over 100 million, but also boosted the 'Fallout' brand as a whole. Several "Fallout" titles were able to attract new players and even set user records in some cases.
Bethesda took the opportunity to release a small tech upgrade for "Fallout 4" and new content for "Fallout 76". Meanwhile, fans are still waiting in vain for new "Fallout" games. Bethesda is currently working on a new "Elder Scrolls" title. However, there is hope in the community that at least a fully-fledged remaster or remake of an older "Fallout" title in the style of "Oblivion Remastered" could be in the works.
