The Slovenian manufacturer Chipolo has introduced two new Bluetooth trackers for iOS and Android. The Loop is a round tracker with an eyelet for the key ring. Alternatively, it can be attached to key rings, bags or rucksacks using a silicone loop. The loop is available in six colors. For the matt black Card, the manufacturer has opted for a flat credit card format so that it can be easily slipped into a wallet. Both are waterproof and dustproof according to IP67 protection class and are designed to withstand dives to a depth of one meter for up to 30 minutes.

The loop is available in six colors: black, white, pink, yellow, green and blue.

Both the Card and the Loop can be integrated into the "Where is?" network with Apple devices. Android users can alternatively integrate the trackers into Google's Find Hub (formerly "Find my device"). However, both networks cannot be used simultaneously with the Everything Finder. This was also the case with the Chipolo Pop model presented in April. However, if you change the operating system, you can continue to use the devices and do not have to buy a specific tracker.

The Chipolo Card is only available in black and fits into card slots.

The trackers play a search sound via the app and flash. According to the manufacturer, the volume is 110 dB for the loop and up to 125 dB for the card. Chipolo offers its own app in addition to the Google and Apple networks. There you can adjust the ringtone of the tracker or reduce the volume. The Chipolo app can also be used to ping a misplaced smartphone by pressing a button on the loop or on the card. On Android, the app also sounds an alarm if one of the trackers is out of Bluetooth range. Chipolo specifies a range of up to 120 meters for both devices. Neither Card nor Loop are capable of ultra-wideband (UWB).

Various search tones can be selected in the Chipolo app.

Both trackers have built-in rechargeable batteries that should last up to six months on a single charge. The Loop can be charged via USB, while the Card charges inductively via Qi. The previous model still had a built-in, non-rechargeable battery and had to be replaced after two years. Both trackers cost 45 euros each. They can be pre-ordered directly from Chipolo from August 27 and later also from Amazon. They are due to go on sale at the end of September.
