Skoda Elroq and Enyaq: all-wheel drive added
Skoda is expanding the range of its two E-SUVs Elroq and Enyaq to include all-wheel drive. This is new in the Elroq and available again in the Enyaq.
The Skoda Elroq 85 is now also available with all-wheel drive.

Skoda offers the two current e-SUVs Enyaq and Elroq with all-wheel drive. In the smaller Elroq, this was previously only available in the RS with 250 kW, but now customers can also get the second engine on this side of the sports model. All-wheel drive has not been available to order in the Enyaq 85 since the end of May, but is now returning.
The Elroq 85x has a synchronous motor with 210 kW on the rear axle and an asynchronous motor with 80 kW on the front axle. As in the rear-wheel drive model, the system output is 210 kW. The factory performance figures are identical: 6.6 seconds in the sprint to 100 km/h and a top speed of 180 km/h. The battery has a net capacity of 77 kWh in both models. There are differences in range and charging power. The Elroq 85x should manage 540 km in the WLTP, the rear-wheel drive model 574 km.
On the other hand, the maximum charging power in the all-wheel drive Elroq is 175 kW, in the Elroq 85 it is 135 kW. Skoda quotes a time of 28 minutes for charging from 10 to 80 percent in both cars. An Elroq 85x costs at least 46,450 euros, which is 2270 euros more than the Elroq 85 with rear-wheel drive.

Enyaq 85x: Astonishing prices
The Enyaq 85x is now available again and costs at least 51,500 euros. The all-wheel drive increases the price of the large E-SUV by 2600 euros. The classification of the Enyaq 85x Sportline compared to the Enyaq RS remains astonishing. At 56,500 euros, the Sportline costs around 2000 euros less than the Enyaq RS at first glance, but is also not quite as lavishly equipped. If you upgrade the Enyaq 85x Sportline to the equipment level of an RS, you will ultimately hardly pay less, but you will "only" get 210 kW and a battery that has two kilowatt hours less energy content and cannot be charged quite as quickly. So it's no wonder that Skoda has been able to collect plenty of Enyaq RS orders in recent months.
