Under the strange abbreviation TdoRZ, the German Datacenter Association (GDA) announced the Open Data Center Day for the first time in 2023. In 2024, 26 data centers in 16 German cities opened their doors to visitors.

It is not yet known which data centers will be taking part this year. However, if you want to take a look behind the scenes, you should make a note of Friday, November 7 and visit the TdoRZ.de website more often in the coming weeks.

In 2024, 11 data centers were located in or near Frankfurt, the most important German location, as well as in Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, Hanover, Augsburg, Mannheim, Heidelberg and Saarwellingen.

Admission is free, but the limited number of places must be booked in advance. Some data centers have high security requirements and therefore require registration with name and address as well as the presentation of an identity card.
