Apple has updated its Final Cut Pro video editing software for both Mac and iPad, adding support for ProRes RAW videos from iPhone 17 Pro models. At the same time, the company released Final Cut Camera 2.0 for iPhone.
Final Cut Pro 11.2 for Mac and version 2.3 for iPad bring new editing capabilities for ProRes RAW footage. Users can now adjust exposure and color temperature directly in the software, among other things. In addition, both versions support the new Apple Log 2 format with corresponding LUT for more natural color reproduction.
The iPad version gets a new menu bar that can be accessed by swiping from the top of the screen or using mouse pointer navigation. This feature requires iPadOS 26.
