Fritzboxes & Co.: Fritz opens its own online shop in October
Fritz is opening its own online shop as an alternative to retail. The manufacturer's main aim is to expand its European presence.

Anyone wishing to buy a Fritzbox or other products from Fritz (formerly AVM) will be able to do so directly from the manufacturer from 1 October 2025. Fritz is opening its own online shop with direct sales as an alternative to independent dealers. In its spelling, it is called “FRITZ! Shop”.
In a press release, the manufacturer writes: “The FRITZ! Shop is part of the company's strategic development, which aims to strengthen the brand presence in the domestic and European market and open up new growth opportunities.”
Expansion of the European presence
To date, Fritzboxes have mainly been sold in Germany. Since the takeover by an investor from Luxembourg, Fritz has been striving for internationalization in Europe. To this end, the manufacturer has already changed its online presence from avm.de to fritz.com –, including a change of name for the GmbH.
Fritz will initially supply the following countries: Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Poland, and Spain.

Fritz wants to offer all its products for sale, including repeaters and DECT telephones in addition to Fritz boxes. In Germany, the Fritz Shop could be an alternative, especially when retailers do not have a product in stock. Price advantages are not to be expected, as retailers usually stick to the recommended retail prices or undercut them.
Fritz, meanwhile, promises advice on purchasing by telephone on request as well as “fast dispatch and comprehensive support.” In support cases, Fritz is also responsible for the statutory warranty in addition to the manufacturer's warranty when purchasing via its shop.
