Stephen Colbert lends his voice
The main characters are young, around 16 years old. Their actors are already adults: the cadets are played by Zoë Steiner, Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, Kerrice Brooks, and George Hawkins, among others—largely unknown names. Among the better-known actors is Holly Hunter, who practically plays a principal. Paul Giamatti is also set to make several guest appearances. In addition, Robert Picardo and Tig Notaro return in their roles as “The Doctor” and “Jett Reno.”
Producer CBS has also landed a star in the role of the disembodied digital dean who instructs cadets at the academy: talk show host Stephen Colbert is to voice him. CBS canceled his talk show in July. There will be no new episodes from May 2026.

To watch the series, you need a Paramount+ subscription. Three subscription options have been available in Germany since spring: the cheapest way to watch the content is with a basic subscription, which costs 6 Euro per month and shows streams in FullHD (1080p). There are ad breaks in this subscription level. For 8 euros a month, the same offer is available without adverts.
If you want the best quality, you have to pay 13 euros per month. The Premium subscription includes 4K streams, including HDR10, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos. You can also watch up to four streams at the same time.
