Tool Collection PowerToys 0.95: Automatic Windows Light Switch
The PowerToys collection is getting a light switch in version 0.95. It automatically turns dark mode on and off.

Microsoft's PowerToys has been released in version 0.95. The new “Light Mode” feature automatically switches between dark and light Windows themes. Additionally, the developers have incorporated numerous small improvements.

The release notes highlight by the PowerToys developers highlight that they have added the “Light Mode” feature, which automatically switches between light and dark Windows themes based on the time of day. You can choose a manually specified period for this or automatic switching based on local sunrise and sunset. PowerToys: Minor Improvements
Furthermore, the command palette should now deliver search results even faster. These should also have greater relevance, meaning better matches. The preview can now be started by pressing the space bar. In the settings, keyboard shortcuts can now be completely deleted and conflicts ignored. PowerRename corrects counting issues, which should make it more reliable for batch renaming. Additionally, the developers have restored the original drag/crop behavior in ZoomIt. The updated version can be found by installed PowerToys through the integrated search in the navigation menu under “General” – “Version and Updates.” The update can be applied there at the push of a button. However, updated installation files are also available for download:

The updates can also be downloaded and installed using Windows' own Winget tool from the administrative command prompt.
In early September, the developers released PowerToys version 0.94. It introduced a settings and shortcut conflict search.
