“Kingdom Come Deliverance 2” is complete: On Tuesday, Czech Warhorse Studios released the last of the three announced DLCs for the medieval role-playing game. “Mysteria Ecclesiae” leads protagonist Henry back to a monastery, where political and health-related mysteries need to be solved: A mysterious illness breaks out in the monastery of Sedlec.
“Mysteria Ecclesiae” is the third DLC for “Kingdom Come 2” and the final part of the season pass. Those who wish to purchase it separately will pay 14 euros. It's not the first time players of “Kingdom Come Deliverance” have been sent to a monastery. In the first part, the excursion into monastic life was part of the main quest—and controversial within the community due to the very rigid daily schedule. In the second part, Henry gets a bit more freedom in the monastery.

Improved Lip-Sync in Patch 1.5
Along with the new DLC, Warhorse is releasing Patch 1.5, which primarily focuses on balancing and fixing some remaining bugs. Interesting for German players: Warhorse states that the NPC lip sync has been adapted to match the international voiceovers. Previously, according to the patch notes, the English lip sync was apparently simply used for this purpose.
On the technical side, HDR tonemapping and FSR 4 implementation have been improved, Warhorse writes in the patch notes. Additionally, “minor visual imperfections” have been fixed.

Future Plans Are Unclear
Whether and how “Kingdom Come Deliverance 2” will continue is uncertain. The medieval role-playing game was released in February to strong criticism and has already sold over three million copies within the first three months. There are no newer performance figures; overall, “Kingdom Come Deliverance 2” is a great success for the Czech studio, helping it break into the mainstream. Although the two expansion packs before “Mysteria Ecclesiae” received mixed feedback from the community, the medieval role-playing game is considered one of the contenders for Game of the Year awards.
No further DLCs have been announced. Additional patches are not ruled out, but the intensive development phase for “Kingdom Come Deliverance 2” is likely over. It remains unclear whether Warhorse is working on a third installment in the “Kingdom Come” series or intends to pursue a different path.
