With AI Cloud Protect, Check Point is expanding its portfolio to secure AI workloads at the network and host level. The product is designed to integrate into existing environments and targets threats resulting from the use of generative AI. Nvidia's BlueField network platform, specifically the BlueField-3 DPUs, serves as the hardware basis. According to Check Point, the security functions do not impair the performance of AI workloads. Furthermore, the platform enables central management of large AI clusters and unified security orchestration across thousands of nodes.
The upcoming BlueField-4 generation is already supported. It promises up to six times higher computing power and double network bandwidth. This will enable both inference processes and complex training workloads to be operated securely and scalably in enterprise environments. According to the manufacturer, the product is already being used in pilot projects with financial service providers and other strategic partners.

AI Cloud Protect integrates into Check Point's existing security stack and complements, among other things, the CloudGuard Web Application Firewall (WAF), which implements policies for the secure handling of AI models. It also offers a GenAI Protect integration at the user level, combining observability functions and protection mechanisms for generative AI applications.
