US electric car manufacturer Tesla has fully commissioned its largest charging park to date. According to the company, the facility in California will be largely self-sufficient and powered by solar modules.

The charging park is located on Interstate 5 between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The facility was completed in time for the holidays, wrote Max de Zegher, who is responsible for charging at Tesla, in a post on X. A total of 164 charging points are available at Tesla Oasis, each delivering a maximum charging power of 325 kilowatts. The first construction phase with 84 charging points was opened in July. The construction time for the entire facility was only eight months.
