Amazon hit "The Boys" gets its first own game – in VR
Instead of passive viewing, it's time to get hands-on from spring 2026: "The Boys: Trigger Warning" promises plenty of chaotic VR action in the Boys universe.

Developed by Brazilian studio Arvore, "The Boys: Trigger Warning" is set to deliver one thing above all on Meta Quest 3 and PlayStation VR2: violence, satire, and moral grey areas – precisely what has defined the Amazon series and its comic origins for years. The USK 18 rating is therefore unlikely to be a major surprise.
Players are expected to find a scenario similar to the start of the series: protagonist Lucas Costa accidentally gets caught in the Vought machinery during a family outing – complete with out-of-control Supes, plenty of blood, and temporary superpowers from the Temp V chemistry kit. Led by Billy Butcher and Mother's Milk, the "Boys" then take him under their wing and help him on his revenge mission against Vought.
Since Lucas involuntarily becomes a Supe, players will also have superpowers such as telekinesis, hand blades, or laser eyes at their disposal. In addition to brutal close-quarters combat, there will also be stealth elements where enemies can be silently eliminated or thrown against walls using telekinesis. The reveal trailer provides a first impression.

Collaboration with the series' showrunners
According to Arvore founder Ricardo Justus, the collaboration with "The Boys" creator Eric Kripke and his team was more than just a licensing deal. The series' writers reportedly contributed to dialogues, scenes, and the fine-tuning of new characters. The story is intended to serve as a genuine expansion of the series for fans.
A few familiar faces should also help: in addition to Karl Urban as "Billy Butcher," Laz Alonso ("Mother's Milk"), Colby Minifie ("Ashley"), P.J. Byrne ("Adam Bourke"), and Jensen Ackles also appear in the game. The latter plays a version of his Soldier Boy exclusively adapted for "Trigger Warning."
