Google is focusing on video for its Google Photos service. New templates are intended to encourage users to combine their own images and videos into video collages. To this end, the data corporation has revised the video editor in Google Photos for Android and iOS. On Android devices, it is to become the standard video editor from now on.
In addition, Google is providing background music and an editing function for text overlays on both operating systems. Google announced this on Tuesday.

On Android, templates for video collages are also being added. The templates are intended to make it easier, among other things, to synchronize the displayed images with the beat of the music.
