Samsung is now releasing the top model of its picture frame television in additional sizes. Previously, The Frame Pro with a matte screen and wirelessly connected One Connect Box was available in 65, 75, and 85 inches for 1500 to 2500 Euros. Now, the manufacturer intends to offer the Smart TV in 55 inches with a 1.40-meter diagonal for smaller living rooms. Additionally, there is planned to be a truly large model with 98 inches (almost 2.50 meters diagonal) as a projector replacement; however, it is still uncertain whether this will be available in Germany.
For Frame fans who don't want to spend quite so much, the manufacturer announces a more affordable variant. Samsung does not supply an external connection box with it; all HDMI and USB ports are instead located directly in the TV housing. Furthermore, the more affordable models do not have local dimming, but otherwise include all picture frame functions and can be supplemented with custom frames. The new Frame line is expected to be available in diagonals of 55, 65, 75, 85, and 98 inches; Samsung has not yet announced prices.
World Art
Via Samsung's Art Store, art from worldwide museums is available for all models to be displayed on the Smart TV. Without a paid subscription, Frame owners receive a few free artworks each month, and they can also display their own pictures from a USB stick or NAS.
Apart from that, the picture frame television includes all smart functions and apps known from televisions with Samsung's Tizen OS operating system. Those who do not connect the TV to their home (W)LAN can operate the display via HDMI and watch linear television, but will not be offered video streams or artworks.

Custom Frames
Optional picture frame strips in various colors and materials can be attached to the TV's bezel. The additional frames are magnetic, thus requiring no manual skills. The frames can be found at Samsung as well as from third-party providers starting at around 50 Euros. We recently tested The Frame Pro in the 1.65-meter diagonal (65-inch) variant.
