The gaming brand HyperX has belonged to HP for several years but has so far only been used for selected components. With the turn of the year to 2026, it will gain significantly more scope: All new gaming PCs, monitors, and notebooks in the Omen family will now run under HyperX instead of HP. For example, the HP Omen 16 will become the HyperX Omen 16 in the 2026 refresh.

The appearance will also change in this process: The Omen rhombus on the front (desktop PCs), on the lid (notebooks), or on the back (monitors) will disappear. The HyperX logo will now be found there.

It is unclear how HP's second gaming brand Victus, which the manufacturer previously used for gaming hardware at comparatively low prices, will fare in the future. However, HP has only been using it for a 15-inch entry-level model recently, while the mid-range has already been called Omen since the 2025 model year.
