Nvidia and Apple boost Foxconn's revenue

Foxconn Technology Group generated NT$8.1 trillion in revenue in the calendar year 2025, currently equivalent to 220 billion euros. This represents an 18 percent increase in Taiwanese dollars compared to 2024. The electronics manufacturer announced this on Monday without providing details on cash flow, operating profit, or net profit. These figures are expected to be disclosed by the Taiwanese company in mid-March.

The Cloud Server and Networking Equipment division, in particular, saw revenue growth, thanks to the boom in artificial intelligence. However, iPhones also sold well again, leading to a flourishing components sector. Revenue from traditional computer hardware remained roughly at the 2024 level. In contrast, enthusiasm for connected consumer devices has waned.

On a monthly basis, the largest increase was in February (+56%), followed by December (+32%). In absolute dollar terms, October brought in the most revenue, as it did in 2024. This reflects production for the year-end business, especially with consumers.

Factories continue to hum

Now, at the beginning of the new year, Foxconn traditionally has significantly less business. However, the less seasonal demand for electronics for AI data centers is also having an impact here. Therefore, management expects that the revenue decline in the current quarter, compared to the fourth quarter, will be at the lower end of the comparison values from the last five years.

Foxconn Technology was founded in 1974 and is officially named Hon Hai Precision Industry Company Ltd. It is the world's largest manufacturer of electronic products, primarily on behalf of other corporations. The headquarters are located in Taipei, the capital of Taiwan; factories are also located in Taiwan as well as several other countries, including the People's Republic of China, other Asian countries, several European states, and the United States of America.
