XGIMI, previously known primarily for mobile projectors, is entering the growing smart glasses market. At the CES 2026 tech trade show in Las Vegas, the company is presenting a series of AI glasses under the new brand name "MemoMind" that differ in features, form factor, and display technology. The devices are intended to blend as unobtrusively as possible into everyday life and automatically provide various assistance functions through a hybrid AI system.

The operating system independently selects a suitable language model from providers such as OpenAI, Azure, or Alibaba's LLM Qwen, depending on the task. The manufacturer aims to keep the necessary interactions for functions such as translation, notes, reminders, or summaries as short and unobtrusive as possible.

For the launch, XGIMI is showing two specific models. The "Memo One" model features displays in both lenses and integrated speakers. The "Memo Air Display" relies on a single display in the right lens and is designed to be as inconspicuous as possible due to its low weight and reduced design. According to XGIMI, another model that is intended to look even more like classic glasses is under development. No cameras are built into any of the models.

The glasses can be configured with eight different frames and five interchangeable temple variants. Prescription lenses are also possible. The lightest model weighs just 28.9 grams. A charging case is said to extend usage time to up to seven days, with a single charge reportedly lasting a workday. Details on usage time have not yet been provided.

The display technology is based on developments from XGIMI's projector division. The "Air Displays" used are designed to adapt dynamically to lighting conditions and head movements. All models are currently on display at CES 2026 in the Venetian Expo. Pre-orders are expected to start soon. XGIMI states a price of around $599 for the Memo One model. Information on the other variants is not yet available.
