Developer bites for the weekend – Smaller news of the week

In our delicious bites overview, we serve everything that didn't make it into the news but we still find exciting:

• Color.js has reached version 0.6.0 – likely the last release before version 1.0. It is a conversion and modification library from the editors of the CSS Color specifications, which records over 3.5 million npm downloads per week. Among other things, null is now used instead of NaN for representing none values.
• Neo4j releases the Fleet Manager as a central management interface for graph databases. The tool offers a consolidated view of the entire Neo4j system, from AuraDB cloud services and self-managed enterprise installations to local deployments such as the Desktop or Community Edition.
• Gemini 3 Flash is now available as a public preview for Copilot Enterprise, Copilot Business, Copilot Pro, and Copilot Pro+, in GitHub, VS Code, Visual Studio, JetBrains IDEs, Xcode, and Eclipse.
• The graphical Delphi Code Coverage Wizard Plus 2.2.1 performs an analysis of code coverage for DUnit and DUnitX tests. It checks, for example, whether all lines of code are executed.

• In version 3.9 of Prometheus, Native Histograms are no longer experimental and the feature flag native-histogram has no effect. Users must now set the configuration scrape_native_histograms to collect native histograms.
• Symfony UX 2.32.0 introduces a new toolkit package for a range of fully customizable UI components. The first available kit is Shadcn UI with components such as Button, Dialog, Field, Card, Pagination, Table, and InputGroup.

• The EU Commission wants to strengthen digital sovereignty in Europe. Until February 3rd, everyone – individuals and institutions – can give their opinion. The corresponding initiative European Open Digital Ecosystems has set up a website with a comment function for this purpose.
• The embedded persistent key-value store Fjall, written in Rust, aims in version 3 primarily for better performance for large datasets and extended configuration options.
• Stoolap is a new embedded SQL database, also developed in Rust. Stoolap has just been released in version 0.2 and is available under the Apache 2.0 license on GitHub.
• Percona has made its platform Everest for automatic database provisioning and management available as an open-source project and handed it over to the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) under the name OpenEverest.
