Airbus has received a new order for the construction of satellites for the Oneweb constellation. The European aerospace group intends to deliver the first satellites in a few months, according to its statements.

The new order amounts to 340 satellites, which are to be positioned in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) and enable fast internet connections all over the Earth. Oneweb owner Eutelsat already ordered 100 of the telecommunications satellites from Airbus in December 2024.
