One year after the introduction of the Redmi Note 14 series, Xiaomi is now delivering the 15 series. It consists of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro, Redmi Note 15 5G, and the Redmi Note 15. In addition to increased robustness, the batteries have also grown.
Top model: Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G
The top model of the new series is the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G. It features a large 6500 mAh silicon-carbon battery that can be charged via cable at 100 W and wirelessly at up to 22.5 W. The model without the Plus has a slightly larger battery with 6580 mAh charges at 45 W via cable and 22.5 W wirelessly.

The display has a diagonal of 6.83 inches (approx. 17 cm) and a resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Xiaomi specifies the maximum peak brightness at 3200 cd/m², the predecessor was about 200 cd/m² darker. In everyday use, this is unlikely to make a big difference anyway, as these values are rarely reached. The same display is apparently also used in the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G.
Redmi uses a new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mid-range chip in the Note 15 Pro+ 5G, manufactured using a 4 nm process. The System-on-a-Chip (SoC) is still quite new and was introduced in August 2025. The chip is supported by 8 to 12 GB of DDR4X RAM and 128 to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G without the Plus, on the other hand, has a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra with the same storage configuration as the Plus model.

On the back, the new Redmi Note top model, as well as the Note 15 Pro 5G and the Pro model with 4G, have a 200 MP wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle. According to the data sheet available to us, Xiaomi has removed the 2 MP macro camera used in the Redmi Note 14 from all new models. For the selfie camera, the Plus model has a 32 MP sensor, while the Note 15 Pro and Note 15 5G have a 20 MP sensor.

The two Redmi Pro 5G models are also protected against dust and water according to IP66 and IP68. The other new Note models, such as the Note 15 5G and Pro, are only protected according to IP65, and the Redmi Note 15 according to IP54.
Only with 4G twice
The three other new Redmi Note 15 models each feature a 6.77-inch display with 2392 x 1080 pixels and a peak brightness of 3200 cd/m². The cheapest model, the Redmi Note 15, which, like the Note 15 Pro, only operates in the LTE network, also features a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra chip with six to eight GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of flash storage. The 6000 mAh battery can be charged at 33 W via cable and wirelessly at 18 W. The camera consists of a 108 MP wide-angle sensor and a 2 MP depth camera.

The second model without 5G, the Note 15 Pro, features a MediaTek Helio G200-Ultra (6 nm), eight to 12 GB of RAM, and 128 to 512 GB of storage. The battery is as large as that of the Plus model at 6500 mAh but can only be charged at 45 W via cable and 18 W wirelessly.
The Redmi Note 15 5G has the smallest battery in the lineup with 5520 mAh. It can be charged just as quickly as the Note 15 Pro. Instead of a MediaTek chip, it has a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 from 2024, which is also used in Samsung's Galaxy A36 or the T Phone 3 Pro from Deutsche Telekom.
All models are equipped with Xiaomi's Android overlay, HyperOS. The manufacturer does not disclose whether the new HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 is pre-installed. The number of Android updates and security patches is also unclear. For the predecessor, Xiaomi mentioned three new Android versions and four years of security patches for the Pro models.
