Oppo, the sister company of OnePlus, has reopened its own online shop and offers headphones and wearables in addition to smartphones of various price ranges. The company had to withdraw from Germany and other countries due to patent disputes with network equipment supplier Nokia. The disputes were actually settled at the beginning of 2024.
Find X9 Pro and Reno models
Oppo's return to Germany was actually supposed to happen at the end of 2024 with the Find X8 Pro. At the time, the manufacturer said it wanted to re-establish itself in the country. However, the Find X8 devices were difficult to obtain despite this promise. After that, things quieted down again, and regarding the recently announced Find X9 models, Oppo initially told us in October 2025 that it had no plans for the devices to be available in Germany.
Only three months later, the situation looks completely different, because the Find X9 Pro, priced at almost 1300 euros, with a fast MediaTek processor Dimensity 9500, a huge 7500 mAh battery, and a Hasselblad camera, is available as the top model in Oppo's German webstore here. The Find X9 model, which is somewhat cheaper at 1000 euros, is also listed, as are some devices from the Reno 14 and A series. Stadt-Bremerhaven.de was the first to discover the reopening.
Meanwhile, the range of headphones and smartwatches is manageable: as in-ear headphones, Oppo only offers its Enco Buds 3 Pro for almost 60 euros; the Watch X2 Mini is “on display” but not available.

Out since 2022
Nokia sued Oppo in the summer of 2021. In the summer of 2022, the Munich Regional Court ruled that Oppo had infringed two standard-essential Nokia patents with its smartphones, which describe technical procedures for improving audio signals (EP2080193) and efficient data transmission in mobile networks (EP3557917). The Mannheim Regional Court also issued injunctions against Oppo.
At the beginning of 2024, Nokia and Oppo settled the patent dispute, which is why the smartphone manufacturer could have basically sold its devices here again since then. The company does not provide specific details about the delayed market return to Germany. The sister company OnePlus has been offering its products in Germany since the beginning of 2024.
Oppo only said about its return to Germany, “Germany remains an important market in Europe for Oppo. We are currently re-engaging with German customers through the official Oppo website, providing them with direct access to selected products and services. Further information on next steps will be announced in due course.” The manufacturer has not yet answered further questions from heise online about the renewed expansion of its German business. For Oppo, the long absence from the German market will likely represent a new beginning.
