AI.com: 70 Million Dollars for AI Agents
The domain AI.com was sold for the highest known price to date. A platform for autonomous AI agents is to be created under the address.
Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of the crypto exchange Crypto.com, has acquired the domain AI.com for $70 million – according to domain broker Larry Fischer, the highest publicly known price for a domain name to date. The payment was made entirely in cryptocurrency, and the seller was not named.
A new platform for autonomous AI agents will launch under AI.com, allowing users to design personal assistants. These agents are intended to perform tasks independently: sending messages, organizing workflows, operating apps, and even trading stocks or updating dating profiles. The platform is scheduled to launch tomorrow, Sunday, February 8th. The concept is reminiscent of Moltbook, which launched last week.

The main feature of the new platform is, according to the company, the agents' ability to independently develop missing features. These improvements are then to be shared within the network with millions of other agents, thereby increasing the performance of all agents. Users can create multiple agents for free or through a planned subscription model. All data would be stored encrypted in isolated environments.
