Since 9:25 AM, there have been partial disruptions in the Telematics Infrastructure (TI), as Gematik informed in its TI disruption portal. According to T-Systems, the cause is an outage in one of the data centers. “We are working at full speed to resolve the disruption and apologize for the inconvenience caused to those affected.”

Individual applications are affected, such as the electronic patient record (ePA) and the electronic certificate of incapacity for work (eAU), and the insured data management. If the latter is disrupted, insured people cannot redeem e-prescriptions, for example. Furthermore, the sending of messages via the KIM e-mail service (Kommunikation im Medizinwesen) is impaired, via which, for example, practices, pharmacies, and increasingly care facilities communicate with each other.

Around 11:00 AM, Gematik reported that the disruption had been “largely resolved.” However, logging into the AOK's electronic patient record still appears to be impacted. Since 12:00 PM, it has been stated that “technical redundancy mechanisms” are active.
