Although AMD's hybrid processor Ryzen AI Max, also known as Strix Halo, is technically very exciting, only two such notebooks can currently be purchased. From June, the two 15.3-inch notebooks Legion 7a and Yoga Pro 7a from Lenovo will be added.

Both notebooks are said to feature Strix Halo variants up to the top model Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and up to 128 GB of RAM. Lenovo does not specify a price for such maximum configurations, only the starting price of 2000 Euros (Legion) and 2500 Euros (Yoga) respectively. Lenovo does not provide concrete details on the specifications included for these prices.

Both notebooks feature a 15.3-inch OLED display. The 1.65 kg gaming notebook Legion 7a is housed in a dark blue aluminum case and has a keyboard with a forward-extended cursor block. The gray Yoga Pro 7a, on the other hand, is more geared towards creating multimedia content; Lenovo highlights, among other things, the four integrated speakers and a touchpad that can be operated with a pen. The Yoga is said to allow Strix Halo up to 95 watts of waste heat depending on the selected power profile, which would be more than in previous mobile devices. However, in mini-PCs, the processor consumes even more, namely up to 140 watts.
