Colorful MacBook Neo: Apple wants to shake up the laptop market
Lightweight, colorful, iPhone chip, bargain price: Apple is breaking new ground with the MacBook Neo.

For the third and likely final day of its hardware announcement week, Apple has saved the “MacBook Neo” for last. With this, the manufacturer is entering the budget laptop segment for the first time with a standalone new model series. Even though the Neo is at the upper end of the price range, Apple is charging 700 euros for the basic configuration.
The design of the MacBook Neo is reminiscent of the flat MacBook Air; the screen is slightly smaller with a 12.9-inch diagonal than the 13 Air (with 13.6 inches) – dimensions and weight (1.2 kilograms) are similar.
