Hasbro, a globally renowned manufacturer of toys such as Transformers or Furbies, has fallen victim to a cyberattack. Business operations are currently limited.
This was announced by Hasbro Inc. in a FORM 8-K filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). On March 28, 2026, Hasbro detected unauthorized access to its corporate network. The company immediately activated its IT security incident response protocols and took containment measures, including the precautionary shutdown of certain systems. Investigations are ongoing with the involvement of external cybersecurity experts.
The analysis is still underway, and the company is diligently working to resolve the issue and assess its full extent. Business continuity plans have been implemented to ensure that order intake, product shipments, and other key functions can continue. The use of these interim solutions may be necessary for several weeks until the problem is resolved and could lead to delays.

The share price of Hasbro fell by approximately 5 percent on April 1, the day the IT incident was announced, from a peak of around US$94 per share to about US$89 per share.
