Amazon's cloud gaming service Luna is facing a change: In the future, you will only be able to play games included in the Luna subscription there. The ability to stream titles purchased on external game platforms via Luna will be discontinued.
Games from other platforms already integrated into Luna will no longer be playable via Luna after June 10, Amazon writes in a support entry. The titles will remain usable on their respective platforms because they were purchased via the EA App, Ubisoft Connect, or GOG. However, you will no longer be able to stream them via Luna.
Those who do not have a gaming PC and purchased the games exclusively for Luna streaming may no longer be able to play these titles. However, Amazon will not offer refunds for the purchase price, according to the support entry.
No more access to Ubisoft+
Luna is a cloud gaming service that has so far pursued a hybrid concept: similar to Nvidia's GeForce Now, some games purchased on external platforms can be streamed on Luna. At the same time, Amazon, like Microsoft, offers a subscription that includes some games for streaming. The upcoming changes will reduce the selection of playable titles. Integrated subscriptions from third-party platforms like Ubisoft+ will also be dropped.

Luna is available in a basic version that is included in the Prime membership and comprises about 50 titles. Those who subscribe to Luna Premium for 10 euros per month will get access to a total of 160 titles, according to Amazon. The selection of games changes from month to month.
Luna launched in North America in 2022, and the cloud gaming service has been available in Germany since March 2023. It allows games to be streamed to a range of devices, including Fire TVs, iPhones and iPads, Windows PCs and Macs, as well as Android smartphones and tablets.
